TLA is leading a coordinated community effort to improve the rate of university or college graduates in South African youths.
Our initiatives include:
A resource library that will provide a welcoming and self-affirming learning environment for students, who are looking for a space to enhance their COMPUTER social, linguistic, cultural, and cognitive development.
Our after-school-mentoring program will provide a space that fosters youth development. Through emphasizing project-based experiential, interdisciplinary learning activities, the program will help youths develop their capacity to be: problem-solvers, creative and critical thinkers; excel in school and be civically minded. TLA empowers low-income youths, with the necessary opportunities, skills, and support needed by them to succeed in tertiary and lead vibrant, fulfilling lives.
